Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, a friendly representative from Voyage Vista African Safaris or your hotel driver will warmly welcome you and transfer you to your hotel in Nairobi. Relax and enjoy your first impressions of Kenya’s lively capital city. The next day, begin your private safari adventure with a dedicated guide, exploring at your own pace and making the most of your African journey.

Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary and LUMO Conservancy

The Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary and the LUMO Conservancy are two intimate safari gems nestled between the vast Tsavo West and Tsavo East National Parks. Thanks to their close proximity, they can be perfectly combined, offering a diverse and uncrowded safari experience. One of the highlights here is the chance to enjoy unique night game drives, when the bush truly comes alive.

During your safari, keep your eyes peeled for lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras and various antelope species, alongside an impressive variety of wildlife. Bird lovers are especially spoiled, with more than 300 bird species recorded in the area. In the nearby Taita Hills, you may even spot some of Kenya’s rarest and most endangered birds, including the Taita Apalis, the Taita White-eye and the elusive Taita Thrush – a true treat for nature enthusiasts.
